More Flavor: Discussion Bernstein's Broadway

If you've ever eased your Sunday-morning hangover with some channel 13, you've probably gotten sucked into Rick McKay's excellent Broadway: The Golden Age, in which he chronicles the rise of true marquee legends in a time when there was actually a thriving theatre community and culture in New York. Leonard Bernstein (of West Side Story and On the Town fame) was a composer and conductor very much at the center of that era. With major musicals set to fold by early '09 and stunt casting seemingly ruling the day, travel back to the golden age with McKay and several of Bernstein's collaborators and contemporaries to discuss one man's impact on the Great White Way.
